Associate Professional in Human Resources

This extensive course provides you with the opportunity to ensure that you are fully knowledgeable in all aspects of human resources operations, functions and processes before taking the aPHR Certification exam. In this course, you will find detailed information about HR department structure, human resource metrics, data collection tools, workplace organization and communication, job design and HR hardware and software programs. You will also review such topics as internal and external recruitment, staffing strategies, performance appraisals, employee rights, labor relations, disciplinary practices and employee health and safety regulations.

Registration for the aPHR Certification exam requires that you create an online account on the HCI website and complete an online application form. After submitting the application and payment of fees, you can then schedule to take the exam. An accepted form of ID must be presented at the testing site on the day of the exam.
